THE HOME

140 square meters ( 1500 square feet) of luxurious living space expands to more than double (3300 square feet ) when you include the 2 covered terraces perched over the clear waters of the home's tranquil bay. Built on concrete stilts, the home boasts an open kitchen, living and dining space which absorb the views and coastal air through massive sliding glass doors which lead to the verandas. The home has 2 bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom, plus a third bathroom and laundry/storage room.

Built with sophisticated materials both imported and local, the results speak for themselves. The floors, terrace, pier and structural beams are all constructed out of Almendra – a beautiful hardwood, resistant to the harsh elements of tropical environments. The dining table is made of white marble imported from Greece, and the Kitchen and shower tile are ceramic imported from Italy. Beyond the functionality and durability of the materials used in the creation of this home, are thoughtful elements and furnishings that will stay for the lucky new owner. There is internet connectivity and mobile phone coverage is good and starlink internet is now available.

THE ISLAND

35 minutes from Isla Colon by boat, and only 15 minutes to the amazing Zapatillas Islands, the private island's remote location ads to the exclusive feel. The island is 7000 sqft, and wrapped by a path and a staircase to the top of the island's small hill. This path allows access to the variety of fruit trees that grow on the island. A huge Guava tree, a big Mango tree and many coconut palms as well as Papaya, Pineapples, Bananas, Advocado, and cacao, make the necessity to leave rare! The island is surrounded by a rock seawall and located inside the entry of a small protected bay. With few neighbors nearby the area is peaceful, but only 10 minutes by boat to the nearest local village – Loma Partida – where they sell basic food and fuel. The water around the house is crystal clear with corals on both sides. In front of the terrace, the water is about 6 ft deep—great for jumping from the terrace into the water into the sea, and skinny dipping in the mezmerizing light of the bioluminescence at night.
