THE LAND

Backing onto the Bastimentos National Park, and almost totally primary forest, the property is home to red frogs (whom appeared on David Attenborough’s ‘Life in Colour” !!!), Monkeys, Iguanas and Sloths to name a few. There is a pineapple plantation, cassava growing, and various mature fruit trees to begin your self-sustainable adventure. Past the plantation there are stunning views from the hilltop towards Isla Solarte and beyond to much more of the archipelago. This gorgeous hill top view point is only a 15 minutes walk from the Bahia Honda property’s private front dock. The border at the back of the property meets the Bastimentos National Park, meaning you wont be tresspassing whilst on your hikes to the island’s wild beaches!
